With a focus on empowerment, safety, healing, and self-realization, our promise is to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Being a registered social worker for 20 years, and a certified clinical traumatologist, I have had the privilege of working extensively with individuals, children/adolescents and families across many diverse communities. In areas including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, family conflict, stress from life transitions, and trauma. A role in which I focus on empowerment, safety, healing, and self-realization.
Therapy is powerful and can be meaningful and long lasting. For me, it is not about telling people how to cope with their struggles, it is about helping individuals understand how to help themselves. Together, we will build a tool box full of goals, coping strategies, self-worth, forgiveness, and compassion. Your story can change any time you want it to.
Primarily using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I strive to provide highly skilled and individualized support that respects the dignity, diversity and worth of each person; to provide hope when your struggles have you feeling hopeless; to understand that suffering is very real, and to help you understand that you are not alone.
